LINK rose 59% over the quarter and touched +105% along the way. BTC drifted up 6.4%. The 5% rebalance bot made $1,308.89 in just 5 trades, a $4.49 edge over HODL. The 1% version traded 67 times and finished $28 behind.

AAVE surged 81% while ONDO’s RWA narrative added a modest 17%. A 5% rebalance threshold let the winner run and edged out HODL by 0.31% – but tighter thresholds gave that entire edge back.

BTC climbed from $84,672.79 to $114,048.93 over five and a half months — a 34.70% rally. Our 1% threshold rebalance bot still turned a solid profit (+16.64%), but simply holding would have made $18 more. The bot’s discipline was also its ceiling.

NEAR bottomed in February and ran 36.6% into June. BTC, supposedly the “stable” half of this pair, quietly dropped 30.3% over the same stretch. The rebalance bot still turned a profit – just not as much as doing nothing would have.

ZEC rocketed from $39 to $656 – a 1,578% run that redefined “parabolic.” Our Rebalance bot turned that into a real $9,721.83 profit (+324.06%) by continuously trimming ZEC into TRX. Simply holding both assets untouched would have banked $23,319 (+777.31%) instead.

ETH climbed 13.9% while XRP crawled just 1.1% – a rebalancing bot systematically sold ETH strength into XRP weakness and beat spot buy & hold by 1.76 percentage points, netting $357.68 on $4,000 across 21 trades.

SUI dropped 27.14%. RENDER climbed 47.29%. A 50/50 rebalance between them still finished profitable at +5.44% — but simply holding both would have made 9.94%. The bot’s own discipline is what cost it the extra $180.

XRP climbed 44.6% in four months. BNB delivered a respectable but quieter 7.4%. Most investors would have simply held both and called it a win. This backtest asks a harder question: can actively rebalancing between two diverging assets extract more value than just sitting still? The answer is yes — and it only took 3 swaps to get there.

ADA went from $0.78 to $1.02 on a macro announcement — then crashed back to $0.67. Most holders rode the full round trip. The bot didn’t. It sold near the top, held USDC through the crash, and finished $137 ahead of pure buy-and-hold.

ETH surged +24%. BTC dropped -7%.
